Corvallis Sunday Devotional Gatherings

"The true worshipper, while praying, should endeavor not so much to ask God to fulfil his wishes and desires, but rather to adjust these and make them conform to the Divine Will. Only through such an attitude can one derive that feeling of inner peace and contentment which the power of prayer alone can confer.”

Stories from the Life of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá, Part I

Sunday, November 2, 10:30 a.m.
Zoom Room opens at 10:15 a.m.

This Sunday's readings consist of inspiring anecdotes that show how ‘Abdu’l-Bahá, the Son of the Founder of the Bahá’í Faith, Bahá’u’lláh, reached out to others and exemplified to the fledgling Baha'i community in the early 1900s how the Baha'is should act. These stories, collected in "Vignettes from the Life of 'Abdu-l-Baha," provide glimpses of his humor, his kindness and wisdom, and his simplicity. Please join us in reading stories and discussing the life of a man who so clearly lived a life of service to others.

All are welcome to enjoy fellowship, readings, and discussion.
