Corvallis Sunday Devotional Gatherings

"The true worshipper, while praying, should endeavor not so much to ask God to fulfil his wishes and desires, but rather to adjust these and make them conform to the Divine Will. Only through such an attitude can one derive that feeling of inner peace and contentment which the power of prayer alone can confer.”

Knowledge, Truth, and Reality

Sunday, August 31, 10:30am

Zoom room opens at 10:15 a.m.

Pursuing knowledge and independently investigating reality enable us to distinguish truth from falsehood--essential if we are to eliminate prejudices, superstitious beliefs, and the outworn traditions that stifle unity.  Baha’i teachings tell us that when every soul seeks out the truth, society will be freed from the darkness of continually repeating the past.

All are welcome to enjoy fellowship, readings, and discussion about how we can learn together.
