Corvallis Sunday Devotional Gatherings

"The true worshipper, while praying, should endeavor not so much to ask God to fulfil his wishes and desires, but rather to adjust these and make them conform to the Divine Will. Only through such an attitude can one derive that feeling of inner peace and contentment which the power of prayer alone can confer.”

Twin Luminaries

Sunday, October 19, 10:30am
Zoom Room opens at 10:15am

Between 1844 and 1863 two Prophets of the Bahá'í Revelation appeared successively above the horizon of the world: the Báb and Bahá'u'lláh. The Báb "sought to prepare people for the imminent appearance of Bahá'u'lláh—the second of the Twin Luminaries desined to bring new light to humankind." October celebrates their births in the early part of the 19th century. Sunday's program highlights the close relationship between these great Educators and shares writings each penned about the other.

All are welcome to enjoy fellowship, readings, and discussion.
