Corvallis Sunday Devotional Gatherings

"The true worshipper, while praying, should endeavor not so much to ask God to fulfil his wishes and desires, but rather to adjust these and make them conform to the Divine Will. Only through such an attitude can one derive that feeling of inner peace and contentment which the power of prayer alone can confer.”

The Call to Self-Sacrifice

Sunday, March 30, 10:30 a.m. via Zoom

Zoom chat opens at 10:15 a.m.

The Bahá’í religion calls for a vision that is “world-embracing”--a vision not confined to one’s own self.  It is our “insistent” self that has hindered and continues to hinder and to obstruct humankind’s spiritual progress.  Join us this Sunday for an exploration of sacred texts on the theme of sacrifice, followed by discussion.  All are welcome.
