Corvallis Sunday Devotional Gatherings

"The true worshipper, while praying, should endeavor not so much to ask God to fulfil his wishes and desires, but rather to adjust these and make them conform to the Divine Will. Only through such an attitude can one derive that feeling of inner peace and contentment which the power of prayer alone can confer.”

Journey of the Soul
Sunday, February 1, 10:30 a.m.
Zoom room opens at 10:15 a.m.

What do the scriptures of the world's religions tell us about the soul's journey through this life and beyond? Join us on Sunday to explore readings about the soul's progress, from the perspectives of Hinduism, Judaism, Buddhism, Islam, Christianity, and the Baha'i Faith. All faiths admonish us to do good in the world, to act with kindness and forbearance, and comfort the poor, the ill, the lonely; the orphan and the widow. Let us focus on our common beliefs and our common humanity.

All are welcome to enjoy fellowship, readings, and discussion.
