Corvallis Sunday Devotional Gatherings

"The true worshipper, while praying, should endeavor not so much to ask God to fulfil his wishes and desires, but rather to adjust these and make them conform to the Divine Will. Only through such an attitude can one derive that feeling of inner peace and contentment which the power of prayer alone can confer.”

Prayer and Fasting: Two Wings to Man’s Life
Sunday, March 1, 10:30 a.m. via Zoom
Zoom chat opens at 10:15 a.m.

The Bahá’í religion teaches that "fasting and obligatory prayer are as two
wings" necessary for us to fly. During the month of March, Bahá’ís observe
a 19-day period of fasting from sunrise to sunset. Join us Sunday for an
exploration of sacred texts on this theme, followed by discussion.

All are welcome to enjoy fellowship, readings, and discussion.
